ART OF THE EARTH - WHISTLER EDITION

This art is made with crushed stones from the top of Whistler Blackcomb Mountain in British Columbia. The stones are made into a custom paint that carries a signature of the mounatins.

A triptych of three art pieces, each bearing a unique signature of Whistler, BC.

  • The first, "Whistler," features rocks collected from the summit of Whistler Mountain.
  • The second, "Blackcomb," showcases stones gathered from the top of Blackcomb Mountain.
  • Lastly, the third piece is a harmonious blend of both mountains, enriched with additional stones from the surrounding areas and Whistler village.

What is "ART OF THE EARTH?"

"Art of The Earth" is an ongoing series where I create art using custom stone paint from rocks collected from one special place.

Whether it's throughout my travels or most cherished local spots, it extends an invitation to reconnect with nature and these beautiful parts of the world where you hold fond memories. Transformng it into a keepsake we can cherish in our homes.

"Nature is not a place to visit, it is home."

- G. Snyder
